A very good arfternoon, tee-totallers.
With Micky D recovering in hospital following by-pass surgery and my good lady wife booking tomorrow off to thwart the forecast blizzards, we may get the old Super 6 predictions on a little earlier this week.
— Jason Darrell (@JasonDFeckTVcom) January 17, 2013
I’ve already tweeted mine (left) and once Micky D has been ‘drained’ [?], his will follow shortly.
The League looks a bit like this, at the minute. Bear in mind our points system differs slightly, but the nett effect is pretty similar:
Super 6 Jackpot Doubled, Week 24
The jackpot(s) for this week’s Gillette Soccer Saturday Super 6 have been doubled as a one-off special.
Instead of the usual £100k if someone predicts all 6 correct results or £5k for the closest should no one produce a Mystic Meg moment, the prizes are £200k and £10k respectively. Better than a kick in the ‘nads.
As and when the folks in our Darrell Super 6 league get back with their predictions, they’ll be tagged on to the bottom of the post.
Week 24 Super 6 games
The featured Barclays Premier League games this week are as follows:
- Liverpool v Norwich
- Man City v Fulham
- Newcastle v Reading
- Swansea v Stoke
- West Ham v QPR
- Wigan v Sunderland
- Golden Goal
Are there any bankers in that lot? City should do a job on Fulham and Liverpool are favourites at home to Norwich, certainly as far as the bookies are concerned.
But I’ve got to admit, the only stonewall certainty there (if there is such a thing in the Prem) is the game at The Etihad.
Are there any stand-out games for you? Dead certs or potential banana-skins? Drop your comments or predictions in the comments below and we’ll
all have a laugh appraise them accordingly.
‘Til next time, keep in touch with yourself. x
